What would you do with 28 and a half hours?

Hello my peeps. Have you ever stayed awake for a really long time against your own will? I did just two days ago. You see on Saturday I went to work and after work I came home and started playing my game, Roller coaster Tycoon. I decided I would go to bed around 2am. That’s when I normally go to bed. I couldn’t sleep. So I got back up and tried reading and playing my game again, trying to get sleepy so that I could get to sleep. Still no luck. By the time 5:30 came along I said forget it I’ll just stay awake until church is over. Well church was so freakin’ awesome on Sunday. After church a few of us went to McDonald’s for lunch. I hardly touched my lunch because I was so tired I wasn’t hungry. Plus I had gone for breakfast at 6am with myself because when you’re awake at that time, you don’t care if you’re seen in public by yourself. Anyways, after lunch we all chatted until 3:30 in the afternoon. I went home and I got my kitty a collar and leash(story about that is in Crazy Cat moment). Then I came home and tried to stay awake for 7pm. Why? Because it was the young adult wind up and we were having a bonfire. Well, at 6pm I was playing my game and my head rested on the arm rest and off I went. I woke up and paused my game and went and lied down on the couch. When I woke up I was in my bed. I don’t know how that happens. However, when I woke up it was 11pm. I jumped up and yelled out, I’m going to be late for work. I worked at noon. Well, I grabbed my stuff and headed out my bedroom door towards the washroom and noticed that the windows were telling me something. It’s night time Michelle, go back to bed. You don’t have to work for another 13 hours. I took a deep breath and headed towards the computer. I played my game, checked out people’s blogs and had a great time until 4am. Finally I felt tired again and headed to bed. I woke up and went to work.
Ok, before I say this first I must tell you what inspired me to do something. I was watching one of my favorite shows, The Biggest Loser. The one girl that was on there was 5lbs heavier than I am. My mouth dropped. She’s on this show?? So after work today I went to the gym. I’m declaring it here so that I can have your support to work out a minimum of 3 times a week. I want to lose 20lbs before August 1. That means I must work my butt off(literally). So after I ran and lifted weights for an hour I headed towards the downstairs change rooms. On my way there I got distracted. There was a guy climbing up the wall. So I stopped and asked him if I could watch. He was like sure. You can even do it if you want. I was like, I’ve never tried wall climbing before. So after watching him do a couple of walls I decided I would give it a try. Let me tell you, I was instantly hooked. There was a line about 7 feet up and I told him that it was my goal to reach that line. He looked at me and said, it’s 7feet. I think you can go all the way to the roof. I said, I want to set my goal low so if I don’t reach it I have something to strive for. Well, I could hear him talking to someone and when he looked up he was like, Holy crap you’re at the top already. haha. I went past the red line. I went all the way to the roof. 20 feet. Still not that high, but for my first time ever I was happy. He said ok now to get down you just have to lean back and let go of the wall. I was like ok. So I leaned back. He said, ok we’ll try again. This time lean back like you’re in a chair and let go of the wall. I was like, ok. I leaned back and sat like I was in a chair. He said, ok, now let go of the wall. Do you know how scary that is? So finally I leaned back and started pushing myself off the wall. He said, don’t do that. Just walk down the wall slowly. (Takes the fun right out of it.) He said, you’re not James Bond so you don’t need to do that. When I got to the ground I told him, I’m not James Bond, but I am from the Matrix. haha. He said to me, now which one would you like to do? I told him I was done for the day. He was like, what? I said, you know I just finished working out in the other room. My arms are tired but I’ll be back to do the wall again. So I think I’ll go on Saturday. I’m hooked. It was sooo much fun.
*Crazy Cat Lady Moment* Number One.
This moment happened a couple of weeks ago but I thought it was a funny story and decided to share it with you. It was a hot day so I took the roof off my car. Later that evening I decided I wasn’t going to use my car any more so I should put the roof back on. When I opened the door I was welcomed with two very large eyes, just staring at me. There was a cat in my car, and it wasn’t my cat. I got freaked and jumped behind the door. It just stayed there. Staring at me. I said in a loud firm voice, get out. It still didn’t move. So I snapped my fingers and said, get out. It still didn’t move. I don’t know why I was so scared, seriously I have a cat. But this cat was big. Fat. And in an unusual closed environment with the scent of another, my, cat. So I was scared. I didn’t know how to respond. And so I said out loud, ok, it’s probably just as scared of you as you are of it so I said in a loud voice Get Out Now, Please. I guess it doesn’t know manners and it still didn’t budge. So I scurried behind the car and tapped on the glass right behind where it was sitting. It was gone within seconds. Whew. I put the roof back on in a fast pace and ran back inside. *Crazy Cat Lady Moment* is over.
*Crazy Cat Lady Moment* Number 2.
Yesterday my intention was to take my cat with me to the bon fire that I never got to. So I went out and bought her a collar and a leash. It is really cute with a bell on it. Well, if you know my cat you know she freaks out when anything is on her head. So when I put this collar on at first she couldn’t understand that the bell noise was coming from her. So she would run and try to grab it at the same time. Her arms were up in the air as though she was reaching for something. Than she would grab nothing and tackle it. It was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m going to try to take a picture of it. If there is a picture of it on here that means I got it, but if there isn’t a picture of it then you know I failed this mission. Ok, remember that these pictures were all taken within a minute. She goes nuts with her collar on...it's so funny. She's so dramatic, especially when she lays down in defeat. *Crazy Cat Lady Moment* Number 2 is now over.

Well, that’s about all I have to report for this time. Until next time. Peace Out!

Oops I did it again

Hello party people. I was reading Dawn’s blog and I decided to use her excuse of why I don’t blog more often. Except the real reason I don’t blog as often is because I’m an addict. I’m addicted to a game. It’s called RollerCoaster Tycoon. I know it’s an older game but I love it. My favorite part is to build a burger stand right beside a ride entrance. It’s my intention for them to eat a burger before they go on the ride and then when they come off the ride they puke. I don’t know why I get suck a cheap thrill from it. I always name one of the green faced kids, Marcus the Pukus and I put a tracer on him for the remainder of his time in the park. Am I sick or what? Anyways, after that last blog entry it struck up some memories of other dating disasters I’ve had.
When I first moved here I was working at Humpty’s. This guy came up to the till to pay for his bill and asked me if I would like to join them to a movie tomorrow. I was like, yes. So the next day just before he got there I was just finishing getting ready in the washroom. My roommate was talking to me through the door. She kept saying I think it’s a date. My response would always be, no it’s not. Michelle, I think it’s a date. Um, nope he said we. I came out of the washroom and she said, you’re wearing that? I said yes, I’m comfortable and it’s not a date, it is just a bunch of us going to a movie(I was in overalls). Well, when he came to the door he was dressed in a suit and holding a bouquet of flowers. I was like, oh...Thank you. We had a great time. We watched the movie Pearl Harbor and went for a long walk and got icecream. When I got home I felt really dumb for wearing overalls.
Another time, really close to this past date I just told you about, some people who came into Humpty’s everyday had become friends of mine. They asked me if I would go on a blind date with someone they knew. I was like, um....nope. Then they told me that he worked with them (at McDonald’s) and that I had come through drive thru and he noticed me and wanted to meet me. I told them I was flattered but still no. After a month of them hounding me(these people are persistent) I finally caved and said fine. So here is how the blind date from.....(this is a G rated blog) goes.
He picked me up(good start). As soon as I saw him though, I knew he wasn’t my type, but I was determined to give it a shot. Then we got into his really old, beat up, falling apart truck. (Still ok). We were going to the theater to see the movie Angel Eyes with Jennifer Lopez(awesome, I wanted to see that movie). When we got to the theater I went to get out of the truck but the door was stuck. I looked up to see if he could help me but he was already out of the truck and walking towards the theater WITHOUT me. (Very bad move). So I pushed as hard as I could and finally got the door open. I RAN to catch up with him. Do you know that show, Blind Date???? Well, that’s all that I could think about. I had all these really funny bubbles coming out of my head and I would laugh to myself. Once we were in the theater I offered to pay for my own but he insisted(good move...I’m starting to forget all about the leaving me in your broken down truck and having to RUN on my date to catch up). I get a drink and we have 25 minutes until the seating for our movie starts. I think wow, we can actually talk a little bit before the movie, this is a good thing. To my dismay, however, he picks up a movie magazine and sits down at a table and reads it from cover to cover. HELLO???? Aren’t we on a date? (Bad move). So what do I do? I check out the other guys in the theater. What other people on dates and wish I had someone to talk to. Finally the guy announces that they will now let the people going to our movie sit. So he puts the magazine down on the table and leaves it there for someone else to clean up for him(bad move) and we head into the movie. The movie was alright but that’s all. We just sat there and watched it. Once it was over we got back into his rickty old truck and went for a little drive. He wanted to talk. Hello, we are on a date. Ok. But the talk is going nowhere. It was almost like random words. I was paying more attention to the imaginary bubbles coming out of my head than to what he was saying. He asked me if I wanted to continue driving around and I said I just wanted to go home. So he took me home. When I went to get out of the truck I put my right foot on the ground, like you normally do before you put your other one down. Well, I hadn’t gotten my other leg out of the truck yet when he started to drive away.(Bad Move). You don’t try to sweep one off their feet that way. I bounced around trying to get my balance without falling completely over and when I finally did, I walked around the house to where my door was. (I lived in the back lane...it was dark, not a good neighbourhood, there is a back alley he could have drivin’ down.) When I walked in the door, my roommate asked me how it went. I started to laugh so hard that I cried. I told her we needed to go for coffee so I could tell her all about it. It doesn’t end there. The next day he sent me flowers with a card that said, I had a great time, I hope you did to, maybe we can do it again. Are you kidding me? Were you on the same date I was on??? When I saw the girls who set me up I swear my eyes turned red. I was like what the heck were you thinking?
Well, that’s it for now. Until next time. Peace Out.

Have you ever been on a date and didn't know it????

Hey everyone. Did you think something happened to me? Were you worried that I had forgotten you? How could I. You’re the best fans I’ve ever had. haha. The only fans I’ve ever had. Are you wondering about the titled? Well, don’t you worry I’m going to tell you all about it. But first of all you have to understand the rules of this entry. This is where I get to tell you how to react while reading. I will tell you where it is appropriate for you to laugh, to cry, to sigh and such. Are you ready? Then here we go.
I will start by telling you how I ended up on a date and didn’t know it. (shake your head from side to side slowly.) I was working and there is this one guy who always comes in for a side of fries and seasoning salt(lick your lips here and imagine it while rubbing your tummy...you’re hungry now aren’t you? If you need to go and get a snack do so now but hurry back. HURRY!!!!! GO, you haven’t gone to get a snack yet....GO NOW!! Remember you must do what I say during this entry, don’t make me go all capital letter again!). So in came this guy for his usual fries with seasoning salt and he told me that it was his last week working across the street so he won’t be coming in any more(sigh here or go awww). Then he asked me if I wanted to go and see a movie/hang out. I was like sure. (Ok, most of the guys in my church just like to hang out...not dating or anything so I thought this was the same thing). So we made plans to go and see the movie on Saturday, fine whatever. After I was done work on Saturday night he came and picked me up from work. (Say yuck, you haven’t showered work off Michelle....Gross...make your gross noises now!!) So I threw on a hoody and some jeans and off we went. I was excited to go and see the movie (Over the Hedge) (Start cheering here for the movie because it’s stinkin’ good.) Woo Hoo!!!! Yay Over the Hedge! Are you cheering? I can’t hear you....go louder....you can be louder than that. Come on, make the people in the other room curious to what you’re doing/reading. Cheer. Out Loud. I don’t care if you’re the only one there. Just let out a woot. Ok, so the movie was awesome. Still not in tune that I’m on a date.(Shake your head here, slowly for dramatic effect.) After the movie was over I usually like to stay to see if there is anything at the end of the credits, especially for a cartoon movie, but he wanted to get going so we left. When we got back into his truck it started to rain. Then lightening(make a scary face....like you’re frightened. Be more Scared. Fine, that will do, but I’m not impressed with the enthusiasm. I need more. The less is more saying does not apply here. More is more. Help me to feel that you’re scared by the lightening.) Anywho, then it started to rain really bad. We were just driving by the bar and saw some guys running across the street. They were kind of running weird I laughed at them. (Insert your laughter here....imagine the guys running funny across the street in front of you. They are crouched really low and they have their arms up above their heads. Are you getting the picture. Now laugh! It’s so funny). Suddenly there was a big crack noise. I thought the guys had thrown something at the truck because I was laughing at them.(Make an almost annoyed look or shocked look but quickly change it to understanding). Why? Because it wasn’t a rock or anything like that, it was hail. Hail the size of golf balls. There were even a couple the size of a baseball. (Make your eyes go wide with alarm!!) Because his truck is new he wanted to protect it. So he was like, I’m going to park it under a tree so that it doesn’t get damaged I was like, ok. Still not aware that I was on a date. While we sat there I was kind of freaked out. If you don’t know, I don’t really like storms that much, especially since we had a tornado go through Brandon two summers ago. Not so cool. And last year we had a flash flood. So I sat there in his truck with big eyes. (Make your big eyes). Then he said it. What did he say you ask? He said, this is kind of a crazy first date eh? Ok, you thought my eyes were wide before? They got even bigger. Huge. Make your eyes bug out of your head, swallow hard and then reply, yeah I guess so. Say it out loud. It will make you feel like you were there. Make shifty eyes too. Like you don’t know where to look. Because you don’t want to make eye contact because your eyes are buggin’ out of your head but you don’t want to be rude either. So where do you focus? Just watch the hail. Just watch it...bang bang bang. So what happened next he took me back to where my car was and I jumped out of the truck said, thank you, I had a good time and said, ok bye. (Insert your laughter here, because I know you’re dying to laugh at me.) Has this happened to anyone else before? I sure hope I’m not the only one. Sad to say this isn’t the first time this has happened to me. You’ll have to wait for my next entry to find out what happened the time before. I hope you had fun taking instructions from me on how you should react(nod your head, you had fun! Do it!) I hope I didn’t become too bossy and you enjoyed yourself. This was for my sister! Love ya Dawn, Holla Holla!! Ok, until next time, Peace Out.

I'm still alive!! You're little plan didn't work.

This is Gabriel. You can tel he's related to me because he likes to balance things on his head too.

Hello again. Where have I been you ask? Did she die? Well, who ever sent out the semi trucks to try and take me out, it didn’t work. I’m still alive. If you had nothing to do with that plan then you probably have no idea what I’m talking about. You see last weekend was youth convention. On the way there I was driving Lori’s car because she was driving the van. There were two big vans and I think 3 cars going. The first van passed this semi truck and everything was fine. Then I went to pass it and while I was just going past the tailgate I noticed that he had put his signal on. I said out loud what is he doing. Then I noticed the front of the truck pulling into my lane. I literally had seconds to react. I slammed on the brakes and he proceeded into the lane I was in. Whew. (He had one of those stickers...how’s my driving with a phone number) and the van behind us phoned it and told the person what had just happened. If that wasn’t enough when we were taking Dawn and Gabriel and Grace to the airport another semi did the exact same thing(except it was mom driving). Oh, it doesn’t stop there. When Mom and I were leaving winnipeg this truck pulled out in front of the car beside us and us. We had to slam on the breaks again. He crossed the highway when there wasn’t really any time to do it. I called him an a** and my mom said that was a nice word to call him. When I looked at him and used sign language to tell him he was a bad driver he was laughing. (I was using real sign language, not the finger). Yeah, so whoever sent them to take me out....it didn’t work I’m still very much alive.
How was youth convention? Soooooo fun. I had such a great time. Staying up late, giggling, getting to see Audio Adrenaline live. Seeing Barlow girl live. Talking to the famous Corrie Block. My friend Kori with a K got his autograph. So amazing. I was talking to a friend of mine and told him that I hadn’t been to a youth convention since I was 17. 17!! That was almost 10 years ago. I rounded it up because it’s been 8 years. 8. Might as well be 10. But now it’s been a week since I was last at youth convention. A week. I really like repeating myself. I really like repeating myself. I think it adds emphasis on what I’m saying. Really I was just reading a bit of what I wrote and noticed a bunch of repeats so I thought I would make fun of myself. Moving on.
Well, now I’m just going to post some pictures of YC and talk about them.

This is Naz and Tyler doing the dance revolution thing.

This is Mikyle and shoot her name just slipped my mind. And they are doing the jousting thing.
Ok, here's a little story. I was doing the obstacle race with Mikyle and I did a face plant. First picture. Then I got to the latter and my capri's that I was wearing wouldn't give me any give and I couldn't lift my leg high enough to get onto the first step. So I decided I would go over the side and I crashed to the floor(second picture) I was laughing really hard but it was so much fun.
This is a group photo of those of us who stayed at the convention center and played the games and had a great time. From the back, the girl in the green and yellow is Katie, beside her is Mikyle. Sitting tall in white is Tyler and then me. In front of me from left to right is Chris, I remember her name, it's Taylor, Naz, Racha, Dawson and Kori with a K. The reason I call her Kori with a K is because when we were walking by he sign that had Corrie's name on it she was like, hey we have the same name except mine is
with a K. So from then on it just stuck.
The picture of the sumo wrestlers is Tyler and Chris. It was one of the funniest matches ever. Tyler kept making these animal like sounds. Like roaring and grunting. So funny.

Ok, now I'm just in a picture mood. This is Dawn and Gabriel at Gullivers restuarant. We had some really yummy soup and Dawn was sneaky and paid the bill before we knew what
she was doing.
And below is a picture of Dawn and Grace.

This picture of Gabriel was taken right after we came from the hottub. Or as Gabriel calls it the hot pool. So funny. Now I sound like a person going through slides. haha. I should be a missionary. Just kidding. I would be a hip missionary. No slow slide showing.

This is Grace trying to feed herself. Do you remember this Dawn? It was soooo funny. There was green stuff everywhere. I loved how her bowl would stick to her face. It still makes me laugh.

I just wanted to remind you what Grace looks like without a bowl on her face. She is so adorable no? You better argue with me and say yes....or else!!!!!! Well, I hope you enjoyed this post. I was just glad that my computer didn't freeze up while I was writing it. Woo hoo. I hope this makes up for the absence of my blog. Till next time. Peace Out.

Only in Dreams

Hey there. I had a nightmare last night. Not so fun to wake up to. I woke up in the middle of it, but went back to sleep to find out how it ended. I wanted a happy ending. I’m going to go into it a bit but be warned, it might be too scary to listen to. I’ll try to keep it G rated. The girl from Law and Order was there(Olivia) and we were going to bust into an apartment where a guy was keeping another guy hostage. When we busted the door open he was sitting there watching the hostage. The hostage’s head was cut open(it was exactly like the scene from the movie Hannibal). But the guy wasn’t eating his brain or anything, he was just sitting there making jokes. The window’s were open and so I was confused why this guy hadn’t taken a run for it. Then I found out that the suspect had more hostages at another location so I left Olivia there to watch that scene while I went to investigate the possible second scene. When I got there(the second scene) there was a girl with her head cut open just like the first victim. So I helped her to escape. But somehow the suspect had gotten away from Olivia’s scene and was heading over to where I was. We were already out so I headed over to the first scene. When I got there I realized that Olivia had been drugged and the killer/suspect guy was on his way up the stairs. I knew because I tried to get them(Olivia and the first victim) to follow me down the stairs and I noticed him halfway down. So we ran back into the apartment. I found it weird that I didn’t pull out my gun at that time but instead I ran into the bathroom and tried to climb out the window. It was really high and it didn’t look like there was a way down. So I ran out into the other room and I noticed that if I went out the bathroom window it would be really easy to jump onto the fire escape. So I went back into the washroom and opened the window. It was soooo hard to get Olivia and the first victim to follow me because they were both so drugged up and goofing around. Finally we got out of the apartment and the suspect guy eventually got shot and died. Whew. Thankgoodness for good night sleep right? haha.
On Sunday I went to church and after church my friends, Jodi and Rett and I went for lunch. We went to a place called Gullivers and I tell you they have some really good cheese soup. It doesn’t come close to the cheese soup I experienced in Estonia, but for Canada, it’s not that bad. It’s actually pretty good. So when my sister comes next week I think we might go there after church...hint hint. haha. Anyways, after lunch I had such good intentions on going for a nice long walk. But nature would have it her way and I got snowed out of that idea. Snow people in April. I can deal with rain, but snow? That’s just sick. I remember at my Uncle Ernie’s wedding two may long weekends ago. It was a beautiful outdoor western wedding. It took place at Circle Square Ranch. But while we sat outside it started to snow. Who in their right mind moves to a place where it snows in may. In MAY! I guess it’s not quite summer yet. But now it’s back to being in the mid 20’s. Two days later. How nuts is that. So instead I bought a movie called Forget Paris. I thought, yeah, I could watch a nice little love story, I’m in the mood for that. Well, I fell asleep. Not because I was tired, I was just bored. When I woke up it was still snowing, but it was more like rain/snow. So I went for a drive. I blasted my music and had a great o’l time. I went by the church and the service was still going on. I was late though, so I didn’t want to go. So I kept driving. If you’re waiting for me to tell you something exciting happened you’ll be waiting a long time because nothing really exciting did happen. haha. I went home and went to bed. Such an exciting life I lead.
I went to work on Monday and afterwards I can’t even remember what I did. I know Lanny stopped by and talked for a bit. It was so funny because when he got here he sat down and just looked at me. I just looked at him back. Then I was like, oh am I suppose to entertain you??? haha. I’m sure it was a funny sight though because I was just looking back at him with doe eyes...haha. Sort of like the what?? look. I guess he got bored with me because he was like, ok I’ll talk to you later. I didn’t know I was to entertain people who just pop in. What is the proper way to deal with that? Anways that’s all to report today. Now you know how exciting my life can be. haha. I think I have more excitement in my dreams. haha.

You wanted it, you got it...a new post

Hey there. To answer your question Lauren, I did not fall into a deep black cyber hole. In fact I have been napping a lot. But starting tomorrow morning I’m starting something new. I am really excited about it. I went and found out all the information and I think it’s a plan I can really stick too. What is it you ask? It’s aqua fit. Do you know what that is? It’s a fitness class in water. How fun. I have done it once before when I lived in Kelowna. And it’s hard but so fun. I’m so pumped about it.
Two weeks ago at youth group we had this really cool Easter egg hunt. It was a driving one and at each stop we had a reflection excercise to do. It was really cool. And after the reflection thingy we would search for an Easter egg. So fun. I meant to take my camera with me to take pictures of it, but I forgot it. So there aren’t any pictures for me to share with you. Sorry, my bad. haha. When we were leaving one of the reflection spots Katie was getting back into my car(I had the roof off) and she was just going to hop back into it (not using the door). Well, she lost her footing and instead of hopping back into the car she ran into the side of it. After I found out she was ok the two of us just laughed. It was sooooo funny. (By the number of o’s on the word so I have made it clear that it was halarious).
Ok, I have a question. I took myself out on a date last week. I went down to where the water dam is and set out a blanket and read my book and had my discman with me. The three of us relaxed together and enjoyed the sound of the water and the sunset glowing over the river. My question is, does this make me insane? I had a great time but every time I tell someone what I did they give me this sad little look or a look of complete horror. I didn’t think this was such a horrorific activity. I need your input, please leave a comment on your view of dating yourself.
I am so excited about my sister coming back to Canada. I can’t wait to see them in less than two weeks. How exciting is that. I haven’t seen them all for almost a year. That’s too long for an aunty to go without seeing her niece and nephew. But I’ve gotten them some really cool Christmas presents. Why Christmas presents? Well, because they are moving back to Canada silly. And it would have been counter productive to send them Christmas presents there just to have them pack them up(or sell them) and bring them back here. But I tell everyone about them coming back and even people who don’t know me seem excited for me. Maybe because I give them no choice but to be excited. haha.
*Crazy Cat Lady Moment*
Alright from popular demand I have brought back the crazy cat lady moment. I will tell you about my Easter weekend through this moment. You’re probably thinking, Michelle, this moment is not about you and I don’t argue, honest. This story is really about my crazy cat who thinks she’s a dog. When I took her out to my mom’s place for Easter dinner my mom warned me that everyone was bringing their dogs out. She was worried about how my cat would be and how the other dogs would react. This would be a normal concern if we were dealing with a normal cat. However, since day one my cat has thought of herself as a dog. Which makes me happy because I’m a dog person. Ok, so I brought my cat out to her house and PB(Puss in Boots) has met my mom’s dog, Jessie, before. In fact they are pretty good friends.(Weird). When I got there Shauna(my cousin) was already there with her dog, molly. At first PB just stayed up stairs. Then my Uncle Darryl got there with his dog, Cybal (his dog is big) and then my other uncle Ernie got there with his dog....I’m blanking on the name. Well, PB got sick of being upstairs so she ventured downstairs to hand out with the dogs. When they would run up to her she would just stand there and let them approach her. Once they were nose to nose and checked each other out they were fine. It was so strange to see. Then later in the evening all the dogs were hungry and thirsty and even I wouldn’t go near there food. But this fearless cat that I have wasn’t only around them but squirmed her way under them and headed up to the bowl. Have you ever gone near a dog when they are eating? The normal response, I would no because I use to torment my pug, is growling and snarling of teeth. With a cat going not only near their food, not even just under them, but eating out of their bowl at the same time they are??? Guts man, my cat’s got guts. It didn’t even get a response out of the dogs. It was like she was accepted as one of their own. I could go on about how my cat is more like a dog, but I have to save some info for future crazy cat lady moments.
Well, I think I’ve bombarded you with enough 411 for the moment. So until next time. Peace Out.

It's been so long

Wow, it feels like forever since I’ve written anything. What have I been up to you ask? Well, a lot of things but not writing it down. So because my memory is sometimes hiding on me this entry may be jumping around a bit. That said, how are you?
Last week I got tired of waiting for my friend to come and fix my computer for me so I said, I’ll just do it. I opened up the side of the computer with my handy dandy screwdriver and looked inside. That’s when I said, outloud to my cat, I have no idea what I’m looking at. Have you ever looked inside your computer? It’s full of thing-a-ma-bobs and doodads. I was like, ok, I have some ram and it’s going in. So I looked until I found something that looked the same. I found it, but it was in a really awkward spot. So I was like, thank goodness for small hands. I reached and kranked and it wouldn’t go into the slot that I knew it wanted to be in. It finally went in somewhat so I put the computer back together and hooked it up and pressed the on button. Nothing. No screen no sound, nothing. So I was like, well that was wrong lets try again. So I tried again, nothing. So I put it back to how it was before and it turned on but it was still stinkin’ slow. It had 62 or 64 ram in it. Not enough to do anything really. So what did I do? I phoned my brother. He talked me through it step by step. First I had to take out the screw at the front of the computer(I didn’t even know it was there) and then I could slide everything forward creating a clear view of the ram spot. (Who knew). Then he told me I had to flick the white thingy’s up and put the ram in perfectly and press down until the white thingy’s came down and snapped it in place. Eureka. It worked. Now I have more ram in my computer....does it still freeze up? Yes, but it does it a lot quicker. I felt so smart that day. I fixed my computer with my brothers help. Woo hoo!!! I can do it...I’m the little engine that could. Choo Choo.
Lets see what else has happened since I last wrote in here. My foot is about 89% better. Yay!! I can walk and look normal, well, I don’t have a limp...lol....normal? That might be stretching it. Oh, I know what I can tell you about. My friend Mike surprised me and we went and hung out for the afternoon. We went and checked out some Jetta’s at the car dealership. I went inside the one I was really looking at seriously. Well, lets just say I’m glad I didn’t get it. First, I went into this place not even a month ago and asked them how much they were asking for it. They told me 5000 dollars. Then when Mike asked on this day they told him 4500. How rude. Just cause I’m a chick it goes up 500 dollars?? Anyways, so we went and sat in the car. The first thing I noticed were the locks were weird. I had a hard time unlocking it. Then when we were in, Mike couldn’t open the door from the inside. Haha. sucker...he’s was stuck. Then I couldn’t find the glove box. Usually a glove box is in front of the passenger right? Well, this car didn’t even have a glove box. I put my seat back and crawled into the backseat. Mike was like, what are you doing? I told him, I’m looking for the glove box. haha. He said, I could have just gotten out and went through the back door, it was 4 door. I was told him that’s what everyone would expect me to do...but I wanted to go this way. haha. I like to keep him on his toes because it’s fun. After this I opened my door to check out the trunk. I was nice and I let Mike out too. It was a huge trunk...big enough for a couple of bodies. Oops, I mean it was really big. Then I got back into the drivers seat and closed the door. That’s when the side mirror fell off and broke on the ground. There were so many parts on this car that were glued back on. Glued! So funny. Needless to say I was very happy with my car when I got back in.
Well, that’s all I’m going to write for now. I will update again soon. Sorry I’ve slacked off so bad. I promise not to be so lazy from now on. :) Until next time. Peace Out.
