Yikes!!!!!

Even though I have no readers I'm not one to quit talking to myself. haha. I'll just look at it like writing in my journal. You know where your most inner thoughts come out. When pen meets paper..except in this case it's when finger meets key.
The past week has really opened my eyes to see how hard it is to be surrounded by kids 24/7. Honestly it's so exhausting. I have no idea how single mothers do it with working outside of the home too! Crazyness. There were points in which I said, I don't think I'll ever be able to be a mother. It tests your patience and you understanding. At some points you just want to run and hide. I understand now that lady who sat in the middle of her kitchen, on a chair with a teatowel over her head. She told her kids that she needed a time out and when they saw her like that they were not to talk to her or even notice her. haha. What a funny/creative solution.
I think the most challenging parts have been the 5:30am wakeup calls by little one. She hasn't been sleeping well because her mom and dad have been gone for so long. I long for sleeping in until 8:30 again. When she wakes me up that early I bring her to my bed and ask her to go back to sleep for a while. This morning she wanted to play. I held her hand gently and said, it's time to sleep now. Instantly she layed down and I didn't hear another noise from her until 7. WOOT!! She is soo cute though. This afternoon she made me laugh quite a bit. We went to watch the assembly at school and after the song was done she said, Ok, my turn to sing. Then she started to go as if she was going to go to the stage and sing us all a song. haha. I stopped her and said you can sing on our way home. haha. What a funny kid.
Only 3 more sleeps. Last night I went out while the grandparents watched the kidlets and I have to tell you I missed them. Isn't that crazy?! I missed the routine I thought I was happy to get away from for one night. What is happening to me?? Am I getting ready for the mommy train?! Yikes!

Hello bloging world. I don't know if anyone even reads this any more. It's only been 4 months since my last post. I'm taking care of the two g's for the next 12 sleeps. It's pretty exciting so far. But I have to say all the all nighters that happened before hand are sure taking their toll on me. Yikes! This must mean that I'm getting old. haha.
My weekend in Calgary was a lot of fun. I mostly played guitar hero 3. Let me tell you, it's gotta be one of the best games out there. I even got my dad hooked! Now that's a good game if it can draw him in.
