Only in Dreams

Hey there. I had a nightmare last night. Not so fun to wake up to. I woke up in the middle of it, but went back to sleep to find out how it ended. I wanted a happy ending. I’m going to go into it a bit but be warned, it might be too scary to listen to. I’ll try to keep it G rated. The girl from Law and Order was there(Olivia) and we were going to bust into an apartment where a guy was keeping another guy hostage. When we busted the door open he was sitting there watching the hostage. The hostage’s head was cut open(it was exactly like the scene from the movie Hannibal). But the guy wasn’t eating his brain or anything, he was just sitting there making jokes. The window’s were open and so I was confused why this guy hadn’t taken a run for it. Then I found out that the suspect had more hostages at another location so I left Olivia there to watch that scene while I went to investigate the possible second scene. When I got there(the second scene) there was a girl with her head cut open just like the first victim. So I helped her to escape. But somehow the suspect had gotten away from Olivia’s scene and was heading over to where I was. We were already out so I headed over to the first scene. When I got there I realized that Olivia had been drugged and the killer/suspect guy was on his way up the stairs. I knew because I tried to get them(Olivia and the first victim) to follow me down the stairs and I noticed him halfway down. So we ran back into the apartment. I found it weird that I didn’t pull out my gun at that time but instead I ran into the bathroom and tried to climb out the window. It was really high and it didn’t look like there was a way down. So I ran out into the other room and I noticed that if I went out the bathroom window it would be really easy to jump onto the fire escape. So I went back into the washroom and opened the window. It was soooo hard to get Olivia and the first victim to follow me because they were both so drugged up and goofing around. Finally we got out of the apartment and the suspect guy eventually got shot and died. Whew. Thankgoodness for good night sleep right? haha.
On Sunday I went to church and after church my friends, Jodi and Rett and I went for lunch. We went to a place called Gullivers and I tell you they have some really good cheese soup. It doesn’t come close to the cheese soup I experienced in Estonia, but for Canada, it’s not that bad. It’s actually pretty good. So when my sister comes next week I think we might go there after church...hint hint. haha. Anyways, after lunch I had such good intentions on going for a nice long walk. But nature would have it her way and I got snowed out of that idea. Snow people in April. I can deal with rain, but snow? That’s just sick. I remember at my Uncle Ernie’s wedding two may long weekends ago. It was a beautiful outdoor western wedding. It took place at Circle Square Ranch. But while we sat outside it started to snow. Who in their right mind moves to a place where it snows in may. In MAY! I guess it’s not quite summer yet. But now it’s back to being in the mid 20’s. Two days later. How nuts is that. So instead I bought a movie called Forget Paris. I thought, yeah, I could watch a nice little love story, I’m in the mood for that. Well, I fell asleep. Not because I was tired, I was just bored. When I woke up it was still snowing, but it was more like rain/snow. So I went for a drive. I blasted my music and had a great o’l time. I went by the church and the service was still going on. I was late though, so I didn’t want to go. So I kept driving. If you’re waiting for me to tell you something exciting happened you’ll be waiting a long time because nothing really exciting did happen. haha. I went home and went to bed. Such an exciting life I lead.
I went to work on Monday and afterwards I can’t even remember what I did. I know Lanny stopped by and talked for a bit. It was so funny because when he got here he sat down and just looked at me. I just looked at him back. Then I was like, oh am I suppose to entertain you??? haha. I’m sure it was a funny sight though because I was just looking back at him with doe eyes...haha. Sort of like the what?? look. I guess he got bored with me because he was like, ok I’ll talk to you later. I didn’t know I was to entertain people who just pop in. What is the proper way to deal with that? Anways that’s all to report today. Now you know how exciting my life can be. haha. I think I have more excitement in my dreams. haha.

You wanted it, you got it...a new post

Hey there. To answer your question Lauren, I did not fall into a deep black cyber hole. In fact I have been napping a lot. But starting tomorrow morning I’m starting something new. I am really excited about it. I went and found out all the information and I think it’s a plan I can really stick too. What is it you ask? It’s aqua fit. Do you know what that is? It’s a fitness class in water. How fun. I have done it once before when I lived in Kelowna. And it’s hard but so fun. I’m so pumped about it.
Two weeks ago at youth group we had this really cool Easter egg hunt. It was a driving one and at each stop we had a reflection excercise to do. It was really cool. And after the reflection thingy we would search for an Easter egg. So fun. I meant to take my camera with me to take pictures of it, but I forgot it. So there aren’t any pictures for me to share with you. Sorry, my bad. haha. When we were leaving one of the reflection spots Katie was getting back into my car(I had the roof off) and she was just going to hop back into it (not using the door). Well, she lost her footing and instead of hopping back into the car she ran into the side of it. After I found out she was ok the two of us just laughed. It was sooooo funny. (By the number of o’s on the word so I have made it clear that it was halarious).
Ok, I have a question. I took myself out on a date last week. I went down to where the water dam is and set out a blanket and read my book and had my discman with me. The three of us relaxed together and enjoyed the sound of the water and the sunset glowing over the river. My question is, does this make me insane? I had a great time but every time I tell someone what I did they give me this sad little look or a look of complete horror. I didn’t think this was such a horrorific activity. I need your input, please leave a comment on your view of dating yourself.
I am so excited about my sister coming back to Canada. I can’t wait to see them in less than two weeks. How exciting is that. I haven’t seen them all for almost a year. That’s too long for an aunty to go without seeing her niece and nephew. But I’ve gotten them some really cool Christmas presents. Why Christmas presents? Well, because they are moving back to Canada silly. And it would have been counter productive to send them Christmas presents there just to have them pack them up(or sell them) and bring them back here. But I tell everyone about them coming back and even people who don’t know me seem excited for me. Maybe because I give them no choice but to be excited. haha.
*Crazy Cat Lady Moment*
Alright from popular demand I have brought back the crazy cat lady moment. I will tell you about my Easter weekend through this moment. You’re probably thinking, Michelle, this moment is not about you and I don’t argue, honest. This story is really about my crazy cat who thinks she’s a dog. When I took her out to my mom’s place for Easter dinner my mom warned me that everyone was bringing their dogs out. She was worried about how my cat would be and how the other dogs would react. This would be a normal concern if we were dealing with a normal cat. However, since day one my cat has thought of herself as a dog. Which makes me happy because I’m a dog person. Ok, so I brought my cat out to her house and PB(Puss in Boots) has met my mom’s dog, Jessie, before. In fact they are pretty good friends.(Weird). When I got there Shauna(my cousin) was already there with her dog, molly. At first PB just stayed up stairs. Then my Uncle Darryl got there with his dog, Cybal (his dog is big) and then my other uncle Ernie got there with his dog....I’m blanking on the name. Well, PB got sick of being upstairs so she ventured downstairs to hand out with the dogs. When they would run up to her she would just stand there and let them approach her. Once they were nose to nose and checked each other out they were fine. It was so strange to see. Then later in the evening all the dogs were hungry and thirsty and even I wouldn’t go near there food. But this fearless cat that I have wasn’t only around them but squirmed her way under them and headed up to the bowl. Have you ever gone near a dog when they are eating? The normal response, I would no because I use to torment my pug, is growling and snarling of teeth. With a cat going not only near their food, not even just under them, but eating out of their bowl at the same time they are??? Guts man, my cat’s got guts. It didn’t even get a response out of the dogs. It was like she was accepted as one of their own. I could go on about how my cat is more like a dog, but I have to save some info for future crazy cat lady moments.
Well, I think I’ve bombarded you with enough 411 for the moment. So until next time. Peace Out.

It's been so long

Wow, it feels like forever since I’ve written anything. What have I been up to you ask? Well, a lot of things but not writing it down. So because my memory is sometimes hiding on me this entry may be jumping around a bit. That said, how are you?
Last week I got tired of waiting for my friend to come and fix my computer for me so I said, I’ll just do it. I opened up the side of the computer with my handy dandy screwdriver and looked inside. That’s when I said, outloud to my cat, I have no idea what I’m looking at. Have you ever looked inside your computer? It’s full of thing-a-ma-bobs and doodads. I was like, ok, I have some ram and it’s going in. So I looked until I found something that looked the same. I found it, but it was in a really awkward spot. So I was like, thank goodness for small hands. I reached and kranked and it wouldn’t go into the slot that I knew it wanted to be in. It finally went in somewhat so I put the computer back together and hooked it up and pressed the on button. Nothing. No screen no sound, nothing. So I was like, well that was wrong lets try again. So I tried again, nothing. So I put it back to how it was before and it turned on but it was still stinkin’ slow. It had 62 or 64 ram in it. Not enough to do anything really. So what did I do? I phoned my brother. He talked me through it step by step. First I had to take out the screw at the front of the computer(I didn’t even know it was there) and then I could slide everything forward creating a clear view of the ram spot. (Who knew). Then he told me I had to flick the white thingy’s up and put the ram in perfectly and press down until the white thingy’s came down and snapped it in place. Eureka. It worked. Now I have more ram in my computer....does it still freeze up? Yes, but it does it a lot quicker. I felt so smart that day. I fixed my computer with my brothers help. Woo hoo!!! I can do it...I’m the little engine that could. Choo Choo.
Lets see what else has happened since I last wrote in here. My foot is about 89% better. Yay!! I can walk and look normal, well, I don’t have a limp...lol....normal? That might be stretching it. Oh, I know what I can tell you about. My friend Mike surprised me and we went and hung out for the afternoon. We went and checked out some Jetta’s at the car dealership. I went inside the one I was really looking at seriously. Well, lets just say I’m glad I didn’t get it. First, I went into this place not even a month ago and asked them how much they were asking for it. They told me 5000 dollars. Then when Mike asked on this day they told him 4500. How rude. Just cause I’m a chick it goes up 500 dollars?? Anyways, so we went and sat in the car. The first thing I noticed were the locks were weird. I had a hard time unlocking it. Then when we were in, Mike couldn’t open the door from the inside. Haha. sucker...he’s was stuck. Then I couldn’t find the glove box. Usually a glove box is in front of the passenger right? Well, this car didn’t even have a glove box. I put my seat back and crawled into the backseat. Mike was like, what are you doing? I told him, I’m looking for the glove box. haha. He said, I could have just gotten out and went through the back door, it was 4 door. I was told him that’s what everyone would expect me to do...but I wanted to go this way. haha. I like to keep him on his toes because it’s fun. After this I opened my door to check out the trunk. I was nice and I let Mike out too. It was a huge trunk...big enough for a couple of bodies. Oops, I mean it was really big. Then I got back into the drivers seat and closed the door. That’s when the side mirror fell off and broke on the ground. There were so many parts on this car that were glued back on. Glued! So funny. Needless to say I was very happy with my car when I got back in.
Well, that’s all I’m going to write for now. I will update again soon. Sorry I’ve slacked off so bad. I promise not to be so lazy from now on. :) Until next time. Peace Out.
