Mouth meet Foot.

I had one of the biggest foot in mouth moments today at work. haha. I was doing a coffee round (meaning it doesn't matter whose table it is, if they have a coffee cup you fill it). And I went to this one table and asked the gentleman if he wanted some more coffee...he was like, "yes, no, um, maybe, no, yes...um ok I will". I responded, wow, did I twist your rubber arm? Thinking this was funny...then he responded, "No, I had to give those back to the hospital." I looked down and realized that he was an amputee..man did I feel like an ass. haha...good times. My first thought was this is so going on my blog. Awesome!

Wouldn't it be nice:

Not to have to worry about the small things.

To build a sandcastle and live in it?

To have an unlimited supply of chocolate without having to suffer the consequence?

Not to have to work?

To sit on the beach all day and not have to worry about suntan lotion?

Not to carry your burdens? (You don't have to you know!)

To watch Dr. Phil and not yell at the TV!

To have a friend that just gets you without having to explain yourself.

Ha, I just noticed that I haven't updated for over a month! My bad. Thanks to those of you who may still have interest in the random thoughts I write down. Today is my day off. I could get use to them. I wish every day could be a day off. Does anyone know any jobs which pay you for relaxing??? I'm totally interested and promise to work hard at relaxing!!! Whatever.
So what have I been up to lately? Not much. I went on a blind date a couple of weeks ago. He seemed really nice. I knew he had lost his last girlfriend. She had passed away. But I didn't know that it had been so recent. Like we went out on a Friday night. Her funeral was on Sunday!!!! That's right she hadn't even been buried yet! Um, a little too soon to be going out on dates me thinks! So that didn't work out to say the least.

I haven't had one of these for a long time. The other day Puss in Boots was watching me do my laundry. I was busy playing with the washing machine and when I turned around she was sitting in my laundry basket. It was so cute. So I picked up the basket, with her still in it, and walked around the house. She thinks she's a queen and I don't give her much discouragment. Whenever she has her need to be treated like a diva she climbs into the basket. She has me trained quite well. haha.
Another Crazy Cat lady moment...well, I wasn't here for it, I was inside, but my dad had PB outside with him while he was watering the garden. She had climbed into one of the trees and was about 6 feet up in the air. My dad didn't know how to get her down so he arched the hose and sprayed the top of the tree. PB jumped out of the tree and looked up as if to curse the rain for raining on her. She had no idea that the water came from the hose. My dad called for me to come and get my wet cat back into the house. So funny!
