I have to admit my inner Naomi came out of me yesterday. For those of you who don't know who Naomi is watch the movie "Waiting". Then it will all be clear to you. For the last couple of days I think the heat has gotten to some people. This apparently means they get to be extremely rude to their server! YAY for me! I am not a violent person but I am clumsy, so hitting them is out but "accidently" spilling their drinks all over their laps isn't right?! haha. Just kidding I would never do that on purpose. I did accidently do that to a lady last week though, luckly it was just water. But the bad part was I was in the middle of cleaning up her friends mess because just moments earlier her friend spilt her water all over her. So the poor girl was sitting within 2 glasses of spilt water. I felt really bad! (She was not a grumpy customer even after the spillage). Anyways, back to the story about the grumpy customers that I sometimes had an inner voice telling me to be clumsy towards.
So the other day I had this table of 4. 3 of them guys, one a chick. 2 of them Foreigners. For those of you who have seen the movie I know what line your thinking of right now...let's take a moment and laugh. haha. Ok! Enough laughing. The one guy that wasn't a foreigner was one of the rudest people. I had to think to myself, maybe he's had a really hard life so give him the benifit of the doubt. He would yell at me across the restaurant. "Miss can we order". I'll be right back sir. Like geez my hands were full of plates going to another table...it's not as if I'm just layed back in a chair taking in the rays. They had starters, which makes thier meals take a little longer and when I brought out their meals one of them, I'm not sure which one...but I'm pretty sure it was in English because I understood it, said "Finally!" As I'm leaving the table to bring out the next two plates the rude little man replied in an annoyed tone, "My phone is charging can you go get it for me, I need to see whose calls I've missed." Ok, one I didn't know you even had a phone. Second, I'm not your freakin' secretary, and third, can I finish bringing out everyone else's meals first? Geez! So I go and I find his phone for him and bring it to him. Later, after he had finished his meal but everyone else was still eating he got on his phone and started talking. Not a big deal right? Wrong! He was pacing around the restaurant and talking with vulgar language. The manager had to tell him to sit down and ask him to refrain from swearing. Can't get worse?...oh just wait! At the end of the meal I brought them their bill, standard procedure. Then they left with the money on the table. When I went to go and collect it to close out the table I realized something. Their money was stinky! And I mean making me feel woozy. It was soggy and wet and covered in freakin HP sauce. SICK!!!! I believe this is when my inner Naomi came out. The rest I could handle but this! It was so gross.
That was story number 1. Now for story number 2. This is kind of a rant session for me. Yesterday, Sunday, it was a beautiful morning. I was as chipper as the birds outside. Smiling like a fool. My tables were awesome until a big black cloud came over Kelsey's. The whole morning I had people who were just getting up and going to the buffet before I even had a chance to greet them and ask what they wanted to drink. I take less than a minute to greet them. It happened about 5 times yesterday, enough to frustrate any server. Anyways, this one table I had took the cake. Literally he had cake for dessert. haha. He was really rude though, but he only seemed to be rude when his friend was away from the table. The rest of the time he was quiet! WEIRD! I just realized that. Anyways, he like my other 4 tables, went and got the buffet before I was able to greet them. I asked them both what they would like to drink. The polite guy asked for coffee and then headed off to the loo. The second guy asked me what type of teas do I have. So I listed off all the kinds. Then he asked if I had blackcherry. I was like, no sorry, just the one's I listed off. Oh, well then do you have White something. I was like, no sorry just the ones I listed off. So in an angry voice he said, fine, I'll have Earl Grey and I want the bag in first before you pour the water(Ai Yi Captain Grumpy pants) I didn't know why he was using such a mean voice to say it..it was as if he was getting mad at me for screwing up and I hadn't even done anything yet. Well, with tea you serve it with milk automatically. But he insisted on tracking me down at another table and following me(I didn't realize he was behind me...I'm not use to having a shadow) until I noticed him. Then he said, I want milk instead of Cream with my tea. Ok, dude, just sit down I haven't even gotten to the back to get your tea yet. Geez. So I bring it out...everything is hunky dory. Later on he was away from the table but there was an empty plate. So I took it gently placing his cutlery on the edge of his napkin. Later on I went to go and get his friends plate while he was away from the table. The rude man said, yeah, this time don't put the cutlery on the napkin. I was like, ok. So I put them on the coaster that held two creamers and a little pack of sugar. I leaned them up against it so that the cutlery wasn't touching anything except for the edge of the plate. He yelled at me. He yelled "Don't put it on his stuff, GEEZ!!!!" I was like, what's the freakin' big deal dude, I want to smack ya! So I just walked away. Seriously though, what's with people lately thinking, I'm hot and uncomfortable so I'm going to take it out on someone. Well people, don't mess with people who work with your food. (I would never do anything to it personally but I'm pretty sure there are some out there that would).

Mouth meet Foot.
I had one of the biggest foot in mouth moments today at work. haha. I was doing a coffee round (meaning it doesn't matter whose table it is, if they have a coffee cup you fill it). And I went to this one table and asked the gentleman if he wanted some more coffee...he was like, "yes, no, um, maybe, no, yes...um ok I will". I responded, wow, did I twist your rubber arm? Thinking this was funny...then he responded, "No, I had to give those back to the hospital." I looked down and realized that he was an amputee..man did I feel like an ass. haha...good times. My first thought was this is so going on my blog. Awesome!

Wouldn't it be nice:
Not to have to worry about the small things.
To build a sandcastle and live in it?
To have an unlimited supply of chocolate without having to suffer the consequence?
Not to have to work?
To sit on the beach all day and not have to worry about suntan lotion?
Not to carry your burdens? (You don't have to you know!)
To watch Dr. Phil and not yell at the TV!
To have a friend that just gets you without having to explain yourself.

Hee Hee
Ha, I just noticed that I haven't updated for over a month! My bad. Thanks to those of you who may still have interest in the random thoughts I write down. Today is my day off. I could get use to them. I wish every day could be a day off. Does anyone know any jobs which pay you for relaxing??? I'm totally interested and promise to work hard at relaxing!!! Whatever.
So what have I been up to lately? Not much. I went on a blind date a couple of weeks ago. He seemed really nice. I knew he had lost his last girlfriend. She had passed away. But I didn't know that it had been so recent. Like we went out on a Friday night. Her funeral was on Sunday!!!! That's right she hadn't even been buried yet! Um, a little too soon to be going out on dates me thinks! So that didn't work out to say the least.
*Crazy Cat Lady Moment*
I haven't had one of these for a long time. The other day Puss in Boots was watching me do my laundry. I was busy playing with the washing machine and when I turned around she was sitting in my laundry basket. It was so cute. So I picked up the basket, with her still in it, and walked around the house. She thinks she's a queen and I don't give her much discouragment. Whenever she has her need to be treated like a diva she climbs into the basket. She has me trained quite well. haha.
Another Crazy Cat lady moment...well, I wasn't here for it, I was inside, but my dad had PB outside with him while he was watering the garden. She had climbed into one of the trees and was about 6 feet up in the air. My dad didn't know how to get her down so he arched the hose and sprayed the top of the tree. PB jumped out of the tree and looked up as if to curse the rain for raining on her. She had no idea that the water came from the hose. My dad called for me to come and get my wet cat back into the house. So funny!
*Crazy Cat Lady Moment* is over.
So yeah, that's about all the new stuff in a nutshell.

I Forgot I Had A Blog
Earlier this afternoon, while playing an awesome game of Settlers of Catan, I realized that I have a blog. Yes, I totally forgot I had one. Sorry to anyone who may still read this and want to know about my life. My bad indeed.
So what's new with me? I went to my niece's birthday party on the weekend. It was a total blast. Dawn is an awesome party planner. She made this wicked teddy bear birthday cake. It didn't only look great but it tasted out of this world. Really, in order to eat it we had to board a space shuttle and leave the world to try it. Kind of expensive gas bill, but soo worth it. Grace was so funny when she was opening the presents. She would open one and then go to thank the person by giving them a hug and saying, "sank you". So freakin' cute. Also, on the way back to her Winnie the Pooh seat she would give Joey, Corrie's best friend (whom she's in love with), a hug every time. It was very funny.
When I was just sitting in a chair minding my own business, just smiling like a fool at all the things around me, Dawn and her friends in the kitchen started calling me coo coo. I don't understand where this came from, but they all seem to think I'm a young version of Dawn and therefore I'm coo coo. This of course picked up by the children in the room and soon I was being called Auntie Coo Coo. AWESOME!!!!
My favorite part was the game. Joey and I became competitive in getting points. You see, we made our pizza's at the same time, mine looked prettier so I got a point. You have to pick the people who don't realize that they're playing. This gives you a better advantage on winning. And if you don't win it's ok because they didn't know that they were even in a contest and therefore won't throw it in your face. AWESOME. It's win win for you. However, I let the cat out of the bag and threw it in Joey's face that I won that contest so we continued for the remainder of the party to play this game. He ultimately won, darn my big mouth. But only by one point. I give myself props for getting the two other points that I got. I took the first piece of cake, which means I got a point because I beat Joey in getting some cake. haha. And I also got a point because I got a real fork and he got a plastic one! Yeah!!!!!! I will gloat! That one I had to strategize with Dawn, the fork handerouter! WOO! So yeah, it was a rockin' awesome party!

We Are For Sure Related to Crack Granny!
Today my dad proved that he's related to Crack Granny. (This is an endearing name that we call my Grandma, please don't take offence). He came home from a business trip which was a day early in my mind so the house wasn't clean...ahhh. I was rushing through some errands after work so I could get home and clean and was greeted by two boxes in the entrance way. My first response was, "OH NO". Then I said, "Hello?". I was greeted by my dad. I told him to get out..haha. I wanted to have it clean before his arrival. Anyways, that's not why I think he's definitely related to crack granny, that comes a little later in the evening.
First we watched a few shows. The first one being "America's Next Top Model". Ok, I watched that one by myself. But we did watch "Search of the Next PussyCat Doll." We had a lot of commentary during that one. Like, did they really have to show the girls puking? I would have just taken their word for it. This is when the crack granny moment happened. Dad was talking about something happening on Saturday. He looked at the calendar to verify the dates. I just looked at him like he was crazy and said, "Dad, that's last years calendar, and it's in the month of December." Not only did he have the wrong month, but he was in the wrong year. haha. It was an awesome moment.
After this moment we watched American Idol. I didn't like the girl who went second. She was the only one that I asked when the song was going to end. It seemed like it went on forever. Dad just laughed at my dramatics. Well, I have a few more updates just stewing in my head, so stay tuned for updates in a short time frame:)

Pictures from the party days. Read the previous post for more details
Cameron and Becky. The incredible Spiderman cake that Dawn made. She should go on the show...Someone's got talent.

I like this picture of Gab and Corrie working on a toy car.
This is what happens when you've had a house full of kids that aren't yours. Take it from Corrie, it's an eye opening experience.
Below: The boys playing with their cars.

Dawn is always doing something to get the camera to notice her. haha.
Below...Grace helping Dawn in the kitchen.
